About Jody Stutzman for Hastings City Council
Economic Growth and Workforce Development
Jody has spent her career supporting families, workers, and small businesses in Hastings. Jody has worked for Farm Bureau Financial Services and is currently at a nonprofit providing agricultural workers and their families with job training, affordable healthcare, and education assistance. Jody has the right experience to improve local workforce development and bring economic growth to Hastings.
Lower Taxes
Jody has spent over 10 years in public service. As a Planning and Zoning Commissioner, Jody helped bring more affordable housing options to Hastings, promoted economic growth, and emphasized fiscal responsibility. As a member of the City Council, Jody will continue to find common sense solutions that reduce the tax burden
and promote opportunities in our community.
Strengthening Our Community
As a life-long resident of Hastings, Jody deeply cares about our
community. As a Board Director for Leadership Hastings and YWCA of Adams County, Jody has expanded opportunities for young people and created partnerships that make our city an even better place to live. As a member of the City Council, Jody will continue to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed in Hastings.
